Quantity Surveyor – Joinery

About the role

Bond Interiors is seeking a dedicated Joinery Quantity Surveyor to support its interior fit‑out projects across commercial, retail, hospitality and residential sectors. You will be responsible for estimating, monitoring and controlling costs related to joinery and millwork, ensuring projects stay within budget while maintaining high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications and scope of work to quantify materials, labour and related resources for joinery projects.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, including material take‑offs, labour rates, subcontractor quotes and overheads.
• Track actual expenditures against budgets, identify variances and implement cost‑control measures.
• Negotiate and review subcontractor and supplier quotations and contracts for competitiveness and compliance.
• Prepare interim and final valuations, payment applications and variation orders in line with contract terms.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and procurement to assess risks, value‑engineering opportunities and optimise project outcomes.
• Maintain organised records of all quantity surveying documentation, cost reports and change orders.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years (36 months) experience in quantity surveying, preferably within interior fit‑out or joinery projects.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities with a focus on accuracy.
• Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and related tools.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
