Radiographer | Level 2 Sonographer

About the role

The Radiographer – Level 2 Sonographer will perform radiographic and ultrasound procedures to support diagnosis and treatment of patients, adhering to Mediclinic’s standards and UAE regulatory requirements. The role also involves maintaining patient safety and equipment quality.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine radiographic and ultrasound examinations in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Provide professional guidance, care and support to patients throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with policy and statutory requirements.
• Ensure patient safety principles and practices are consistently applied to meet care standards.
• Conduct equipment calibration and routine maintenance to guarantee optimal performance.

Required profile

• Hold a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound, Sonography, Radiography, Radiology Technology or Medical Imaging, together with a post‑primary certificate or diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound.
• Possess a minimum of two years’ relevant experience in radiography or sonography.

Required skills

• Proficient verbal and written communication in English.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of client service principles and best practices.
• Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards.
