Real Time Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Real‑Time Software Engineer to develop the core software platform that ingests sensor data, processes events, controls devices, and generates records. The role requires building high‑throughput, low‑latency pipelines and ensuring reliable operation in demanding environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the core platform for sensor data acquisition, event processing, device control, and record generation.
• Build high‑throughput processing pipelines using producer‑consumer patterns, queues, bounded channels and back‑pressure mechanisms.
• Parse binary communication protocols safely and efficiently.
• Integrate TCP, UDP, serial, CAN, GPIO and device SDKs.
• Configure and manage PTP, NTP, GNSS time sources and hardware timestamps.
• Develop watchdogs, reconnection logic, retry policies, timeout handling and automatic recovery.
• Profile CPU, memory, disk, GPU and network performance.
• Create simulation and replay tools from logged data.
• Implement unit, integration, hardware‑in‑the‑loop and regression testing.
• Manage software versioning, release control and production deployment.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in systems software development.
• Advanced proficiency in C#, C++ or a comparable systems programming language.
• Hands‑on experience with Doppler Radar or LiDAR, Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Fast Fourier Transform (FFT).
• Strong background in real‑time or near‑real‑time software systems.
• Deep understanding of concurrency, asynchronous programming, thread safety, memory management and task scheduling.
