Receiving Clerk – Hotel Operations

About the role

Rixos Hotels is looking for a detail‑oriented Receiving Clerk to join its Ras Al Khaimah team. You will be responsible for the accurate receipt, inspection and documentation of all incoming goods, supporting smooth hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify and inspect incoming goods against purchase orders, ensuring correct quality and quantity.
• Document any discrepancies or damages and report them to the relevant departments.
• Maintain accurate daily receiving logs for food and non‑food items.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Purchasing and other departments to ensure seamless processes.
• Follow HACCP standards for product handling and storage.
• Keep the receiving area clean and organized.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• College diploma or equivalent with prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Knowledge of materials control and inventory management practices.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced setting.
• Physical ability to lift and move items of varying weights and basic math skills for counting and measuring.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑department collaboration.
• Familiarity with HACCP standards is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
