Receptionist (Emirate National)

About the role

Healthway Medical Center in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Receptionist (Emirate National) to manage the front desk on a daily basis and carry out a range of administrative and clerical tasks. The position is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive, direct them to the right person and office, and notify staff of their arrival
• Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
• Keep the reception area tidy and stocked with stationery such as pens, forms and brochures
• Provide accurate information in person and by phone or email
• Receive, sort and distribute daily mail and deliveries
• Maintain office security by following safety procedures, monitoring the visitor logbook and issuing visitor badges
• Order front office supplies and keep an inventory of stock
• Update calendars, schedule meetings, arrange travel and accommodation and prepare vouchers
• Keep records of office expenses and costs
• Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing

Required profile

• Proven experience as a receptionist, front office representative or in a similar role
• High school degree; an additional certification in Office Management is a plus
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Solid written and verbal communication skills, customer service attitude and excellent organisational skills
• Resourceful, proactive, able to multitask and prioritise

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Hands-on experience with office equipment such as fax machines and printers
