Recruiter - Mining

About the role

Atoms builds Physical AI, deploying real-world robots for food, mining and transport. As a Recruiter you will own the full recruitment lifecycle for Field Engineering and Field Operations roles supporting autonomous haulage deployments, including on-site rotational positions at mining operations in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. The role is based in the Dubai office, where all office-based teams work onsite five days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leadership and site managers to define hiring needs, calibrate on technical talent and align recruiting strategy to deployment timelines and customer commitments.
• Build deep pipelines across three talent pools: mining operations leaders, field service and mechatronics technicians, and robotics/software engineers.
• Market-map the mining, heavy equipment OEM, automotive electronics and autonomous vehicle sectors to find talent that rarely applies through job boards.
• Sell the demanding proposition well: FIFO rotations, rugged site environments, five-day onsite work and the chance to put autonomy into production.
• Drive strategic hiring initiatives that improve time-to-fill and hiring quality, using funnel data to identify bottlenecks and streamline workflows.

Required profile

• 4-6 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally hiring technical, field or operations talent for mining, heavy industry, construction equipment, automotive, robotics or autonomous vehicle companies.
• Working understanding of the roles you will hire for, such as mine production cycles, DBW kits and CAN diagnostics, or embedded Linux debugging.
• Experience recruiting for remote, rotational or site-based roles; familiarity with GCC labour markets and mobilisation is a strong plus.
• Proven success managing fast-moving searches across multiple geographies and time zones.
• Able to influence engineering and operations leaders and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and technical candidates.
