Recruitment Officer

About the role

Samsung E&A, a specialized EPC company providing plant-industry solutions across oil and gas, refinery, petrochemical, energy transition, environmental, industrial and bio areas, is looking for a Recruitment Officer in Abu Dhabi. The officer delivers recruiting success across the organization by building local and national recruiting plans, using traditional sourcing methods and developing new, creative approaches, and plays a key role in hiring the best possible talent.

Key responsibilities

• Work with hiring managers on recruiting planning meetings and create job descriptions.
• Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position and efficiently fill them.
• Follow up regularly with managers to check the effectiveness of recruiting plans.
• Build a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
• Research and recommend new sources for active and passive recruiting, build networks and use social and professional networking sites to source candidates.
• Post openings with professional organizations and online, and improve the company website recruiting page.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR Management.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• HR experience gained at a project site in the Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industry is preferred.

Required skills

• Recruitment and selection, HR project management and policy compliance of domestic and international assignments.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, confidentiality, strategic thinking, flexibility and teamwork.
