Recruitment Specialist - Construction & Engineering

About the role

A proactive, results-driven Recruitment Specialist is sought to manage end-to-end recruitment across construction, engineering consultancy and contracting businesses in Dubai. The role focuses on sourcing technical, engineering, construction, commercial and corporate talent, delivering a strong candidate experience and timely hiring.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle: manpower requirements, sourcing, screening, interviews, selection, offer and onboarding.
• Sourcing via LinkedIn, Indeed, recruitment platforms, databases, agencies, referrals and direct sourcing.
• Recruit for construction and engineering roles such as Project Managers, civil/mechanical/electrical engineers, QS, estimators, planning and site engineers, procurement, contracts, HSE, draftsmen and document controllers.
• Partner with hiring managers on job requirements, technical competencies and manpower priorities.
• Screen candidates, run preliminary interviews and salary discussions, coordinate technical assessments and reference checks.
• Maintain a talent pipeline and manage recruitment trackers, candidate databases, interview schedules and offers.
• Coordinate with HR and PRO teams on visas, documentation and onboarding; support workforce planning for new projects and business expansion.
• Work with recruitment agencies, monitor their performance and costs, and ensure compliance with UAE labour regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3-6 years of recruitment experience, preferably in construction, engineering consultancy, contracting, real estate or a related industry.
• Strong experience in technical and construction recruitment.
• Good knowledge of the UAE recruitment market and sourcing practices.

Required skills

• Hands-on use of LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, job portals, ATS/HR systems and recruitment databases.
• Interviewing, candidate assessment, negotiation and stakeholder management.
• Ability to handle multiple vacancies and meet deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
