Regional Delivery Manager

About the role

The Regional Delivery Manager manages and optimizes delivery operations across a region, ensuring products reach customers on time while leading a team of delivery personnel. The role covers route planning, scheduling, resource allocation and performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimize delivery operations, including route planning, scheduling and resource allocation
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of products, meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Lead a team of delivery personnel, providing guidance, coaching and development opportunities
• Analyze and improve delivery processes, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains
• Collaborate with customer service, sales and logistics teams to ensure seamless delivery experiences
• Monitor and report on metrics such as on-time delivery, order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
• Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate delivery disruptions and ensure business continuity

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or delivery management, preferably in a regional or senior role
• Proven track record of improving delivery operations and customer satisfaction
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
