Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

About the role

The Emergency Department at Speciality Hospital Al Ain is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe, compassionate care to patients in a fast‑paced environment. The role requires adherence to UAE nursing regulations and active participation in a collaborative clinical team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care while maintaining safety and respecting patient dignity.
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
• Complete mandatory training, maintain competency records, and follow the NMC Nurse Competency Matrix.
• Support, mentor and supervise pre‑registration nurses, new hires, and nursing students.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, incident reporting, and audits.
• Uphold professional standards, act as a role model, and contribute to a positive practice environment.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse licensed in the UAE and familiar with the UAE Code of Conduct and Scope of Practice.
• Willingness to learn new clinical skills and engage in continuous professional development.
• Ability to recognize personal competence limits and seek assistance when needed.
• Commitment to patient education, safety culture, and regulatory compliance.

• Medical device operation and competency verification.
• Clinical supervision and preceptorship of nursing staff.
• Documentation and reporting of incidents and near‑miss events.
