Registered Nurse - Gynecology, Outpatient Clinic

About the role

The Outpatient Department Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients attending the outpatient facility or clinic. The role involves recording patient histories, performing diagnostic tests, administering medications and developing patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. It is a full-time position based in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs on an ongoing basis.
• Provide regular, accurate updates to patients and their relatives, with sensitive and clear communication.
• Involving patients, caregivers and families in the care process and giving health education to promote healthy lifestyles.
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and respecting dignity, privacy, cultural and religious beliefs.
• Participating in nursing audits, quality improvement initiatives and specialist link roles such as infection control.
• Adhering to Dubai Health Authority guidelines and regulatory standards, and upholding infection control principles.

Required profile

• DHA UAE Medical Health Authority license.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• At least 2 years of experience in a hospital or similar setting in gynecology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, patients and stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Able to manage digital documentation and communication effectively.
