Registered Nurse – ICU

About the role

The ICU team at NMC Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high‑quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to ICU patients, adhering to UAE Code of Conduct and licensure requirements.
• Speak up about safety concerns and communicate effectively with the care team.
• Maintain up‑to‑date mandatory training and competency records.
• Support and supervise pre‑registration nurses, new hires, and students through mentorship and preceptorship.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, incident reporting, and audits.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and recovery processes.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse qualification recognized by the UAE regulator.
• Commitment to patient safety, kindness, and professional accountability.
• Willingness to learn new clinical skills and engage in continuous professional development.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary ICU setting.

Required skills

• Competence in using medical devices after appropriate training.
