Registered Nurse – LTC

About the role

Provita International Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Long‑Term Care (LTC) to join its multidisciplinary team in Al Ain. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality patient care, education, and emotional support within a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care, including education and emotional support for patients and families.
• Conduct systematic patient assessments, re‑assessments, and collect pertinent health data.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized medical plans in partnership with physicians and allied health professionals.
• Record vital signs, recognize abnormalities, and escalate issues as needed.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Perform wound‑care management and assist with invasive and non‑invasive procedures.
• Facilitate safe patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Participate in performance improvement, quality initiatives, and business continuity plans during emergencies.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse qualification with a focus on long‑term care.
• Ability to assess patient needs, determine nursing diagnoses, and set expected outcomes.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with interprofessional teams and patients’ families.
• Commitment to maintaining up‑to‑date clinical and technical nursing skills.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• IV therapy and medication administration.
• Wound care management.
• Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring.
• Pain management competence.
