Registered Nurse – Maternity Ward

About the role

The Registered Nurse will provide patient‑centred, evidence‑based care on the Maternity Ward, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements. This role supports safe, high‑quality maternity services for antenatal, postnatal and newborn care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, adhering to clinical standards and relevant legislation.
• Identify, prevent and manage risks to ensure patient safety in line with clinical risk policies.
• Promote positive patient experiences by creating a supportive environment under nursing leadership guidance.
• Foster a learning environment by supervising, mentoring and coaching nursing staff and learners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• At least 2 years of recent maternity nursing experience covering antenatal, postnatal and baby care.

Required skills

• Basic Arabic language proficiency.
• Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
