Registered Nurse – Primary Care & Aviation Services

About the role
The Registered Nurse will deliver primary care and general practice nursing services to company employees, handling illness, workplace injuries, and aviation‑related medical requirements. The role includes participation in screening programs and compliance with MOH and GCAA regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor patients' conditions, assess needs, and provide appropriate care and advice.
- Take vital signs, collect samples, and prepare instruments for examinations and procedures.
- Prepare patients for GP consultations and assist in regulatory and screening medicals.
- Operate diagnostic equipment and perform nursing procedures such as medication administration, IV infusions, dressing changes, blood pressure measurement, finger‑stick glucose testing, ECG, spirometry, and ear lavage.
- Provide immediate medical care in emergencies and collaborate with physicians to develop individualized care plans.
- Record test results accurately in the medical information system and alert physicians to any irregularities.
- Participate in clinical audits and uphold infection‑control standards, including equipment decontamination and facility sanitation.
Required profile
- Nursing degree with a valid MOH license.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered nurse in primary care or similar settings.
- Ability to work 24‑hour shift patterns and function both independently and as part of a team.
- Good health, fitness, and fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of nursing care methods, emergency care, and health‑safety guidelines.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and database systems.
- Operation of diagnostic machines (ECG, spirometry).
- Medication administration and IV infusion techniques.
- Blood pressure measurement and finger‑stick blood glucose testing.
- Wound dressing and ear lavage procedures.
- Infection‑control practices.
