Registered Nurse – Urgent Care

About the role

Reem Hospital on Reem Island is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join its Urgent Care team. In this fast‑paced environment you will provide high‑quality nursing care to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries, ensuring safety and patient‑centered outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including triage and prioritisation based on clinical urgency.
• Deliver nursing care for a wide range of acute illnesses, minor injuries and urgent medical conditions.
• Monitor, assess and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, treatments and procedures according to physician orders and hospital policies.
• Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals during examinations, procedures and emergency interventions.
• Recognise and respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.
• Provide patient and family education on treatment plans, medications and follow‑up care.
• Adhere to infection prevention and control policies and maintain a safe clinical environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Participate in quality‑improvement, patient‑safety and accreditation initiatives.

Required profile

• Valid DOH Nursing licence.
• Minimum 24 months of experience in urgent care, emergency or acute care settings.
• Strong clinical assessment and prioritisation skills.
• Commitment to delivering safe, efficient and patient‑centred care.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
