Regular or Visiting Faculty (2027) – Chemical Engineering

About the role

The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering invites applications for a regular or visiting faculty position at the assistant, associate, or full professor level, commencing in Fall 2027. The role involves teaching, research, and service within a diverse, internationally accredited engineering program.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in chemical, biological, and biochemical engineering.
• Develop and update curricula, ensuring alignment with ABET accreditation standards.
• Supervise student projects, theses, and laboratory work.
• Maintain an active research program and publish scholarly work.
• Participate in departmental committees, outreach, and accreditation activities.

Required profile

• PhD in Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated teaching experience with a strong portfolio.
• Evidence of research productivity and ability to secure funding.
• Experience with the American model of higher education is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment with students and faculty from ~90 nationalities.
