Regulatory Compliance Assistant Manager

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Regulatory Compliance supports the Head of Regulatory Compliance in ensuring the bank meets all regulatory requirements outside of Financial Crime Compliance. The role delivers regulatory assurance through assessments, monitoring, stakeholder engagement and governance reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct recurring regulatory compliance assessments via the Regulatory Management System, identify gaps and track findings.
• Support regulatory examinations, inspections and ad‑hoc requests from the CBUAE and other authorities, including correspondence and reporting.
• Analyse new regulations, assess impact, maintain the internal regulatory library and prepare updates for senior management.
• Assist with FATCA/CRS compliance, reporting and data validation.
• Review policies and product programs to ensure regulatory requirements are addressed and contribute to training materials.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in banking or financial services, with at least 5 years in regulatory compliance.
• Strong working knowledge of CBUAE regulations and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams.
