Regulatory Credit Risk Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Regulatory Credit Risk Analyst to join our Wholesale Credit team in Dubai. The role focuses on identifying emerging risks, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and delivering comprehensive regulatory reporting. You will work closely with business and control functions to support governance and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Chief Credit Officer by preparing pre‑ and post‑approval documentation and maintaining a dashboard of local regulatory approvals.
• Conduct gap analyses of new regulations against Citibank’s internal policies and recommend action plans.
• Prepare and present materials for Risk Oversight Committee, Model Oversight Committee and Country Coordinating Committee meetings.
• Coordinate and submit regular and ad‑hoc regulatory credit surveys and reports.
• Lead rapid portfolio reviews in response to high‑impact risk events, collaborating with Institutional Credit Management and First Line of Defense units.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics or a related quantitative field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in risk management, credit analysis or regulatory reporting within banking or financial services.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to communicate complex risk concepts to senior stakeholders.
