Regulatory/Compliance Manager

About the role

Amazon Thunder is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to lead the compliance program across the UAE and support the AMET (Africa, Middle East, and Turkey) region when needed. The role focuses on developing and implementing compliance strategies that protect Amazon’s reputation, customers, and business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the compliance program across the UAE and provide support for the AMET region.
• Develop and implement compliance strategies aligned with diverse regulatory environments.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure compliance integration.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with regulatory authorities across the region.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or legal roles.
• Proven experience developing and implementing compliance programs in the AMET region, especially within UAE regulatory frameworks.
• Experience engaging with regulatory authorities and managing regulatory relationships.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance best practices.
