Renovation Sales Engineer

About the role

The Renovation Sales Engineer drives Otis’s modernization business in Sharjah, negotiating orders, implementing unit recovery strategies and aligning solutions with client needs to grow market share.

Key responsibilities

• Manage MOD and off‑portfolio replacement inquiries from initial contact through project completion.
• Prepare detailed estimates and issue quotations for upgrades, modernization projects and repairs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, regularly engaging key contacts.
• Secure orders for modernization and replacement projects and ensure seamless integration with existing service frameworks.
• Oversee a portfolio of elevator units, fostering customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Act as primary contact for customer inquiries, providing timely resolutions.
• Generate new business through cold calling, networking and participation in bids and tenders.
• Create and execute strategic sales plans to meet ambitious targets.
• Utilise Otis sales tools to track opportunities, manage pipelines and forecast results.
• Conduct complex sales negotiations and collaborate with sales representatives and field colleagues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of vertical‑transportation sales experience, specifically in modernization.
• At least 2 years of progressively responsible roles demonstrating leadership.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic proficiency preferred.
