Research Analyst – Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution

About the role

The Dubai Future Foundation is seeking a Research Analyst to join its Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR). The role focuses on delivering evidence‑based research, producing high‑level content and helping position the Foundation and the UAE C4IR as leaders in future‑focused innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead research projects on topics such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things and other emerging technologies.
• Produce analytical reports, policy briefs and thought‑leadership pieces for internal and external audiences.
• Support the development and testing of governance frameworks that anticipate risks and accelerate social benefits of technology.
• Collaborate with multi‑stakeholder communities, including government, industry and academia.
• Continuously deepen expertise in a defined area of interest while contributing to the broader foresight agenda.

Required profile

• UAE national with a strong analytical mindset.
• Agile, thorough and proactive in conducting due‑diligence.
• Demonstrated interest in at least one emerging technology domain (e.g., AI or IoT).
• Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary, fast‑moving environment.
