Research and Development Specialist

About the role

The Research and Development Specialist will lead the design, execution and analysis of surveys across TASC’s business units in the GCC. You will translate data into compelling narratives for executives, media and external partners while supporting the company’s brand and market positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Design, launch and manage end‑to‑end surveys, analyse results and produce executive briefs and press‑ready reports.
• Monitor competitive and market trends in GCC staffing to keep TASC’s positioning up‑to‑date.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets and industry publications; pitch research findings and coordinate press activities.
• Manage day‑to‑day interactions with trade corridor bodies and business councils, securing speaking slots, sponsorships and co‑branded content.
• Support planning and on‑site execution of TASC‑hosted and third‑party events, assisting the brand team with campaigns and marketing tasks.
• Utilise automation and AI tools to keep dashboards, trackers and repetitive reporting tasks up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in consulting, research analysis or market intelligence (consulting background preferred).
• Strong survey design and data‑analysis capabilities, able to craft narratives for journalists and executives.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication, with confidence to engage media contacts, trade bodies and senior partners.
• Proven ability to work directly with leadership and represent the company at external events.
• Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
