Research Coordinator (Emirati)

About the role

A leading academic medical institution in Dubai is hiring a Research Coordinator (Emirati) for its Research and Graduate Studies department. The role combines administrative coordination with clinical research support, keeping studies running smoothly through documentation, scheduling and communication, while working closely with patients, principal investigators and research teams to ensure full compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule study visits, meetings and follow-ups with participants and clinical staff
• Maintain accurate records, documentation and filing systems for study activities
• Enter and manage data in electronic data capture systems and clinical databases
• Support administrative preparation of IRB submissions, amendments and regulatory documentation
• Help prepare reports, correspondence and materials for audits and inspections
• Screen and support recruitment of study participants against inclusion and exclusion criteria
• Support the informed consent process so participants understand study procedures

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in health sciences, Nursing, Biology, Psychology, Business Administration or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience in an administrative, coordination or clinical research setting
• Experience managing schedules, records or reports
• Familiarity with research ethics, regulatory requirements or healthcare compliance is an advantage
• Comfortable working directly with patients and cross-functional teams
• A Master's in Public Health, Clinical Research, Healthcare Administration or a related field is a plus
