Reservation Agent

About the role

The Reservation Agent supports the hotel's front office by managing guest reservations, maximizing room yield, and ensuring accurate data entry. You will work closely with the sales, revenue, and front‑desk teams to deliver a seamless booking experience. This position is based at Swissôtel Al Murooj in downtown Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily hotel occupancy, average room rates, and performance against budget.
• Upsell and suggest additional hotel services to maximize revenue.
• Enter and maintain all reservation data accurately in the OPERA property management system.
• Respond to fax, email, and telephone inquiries within 24 hours.
• Conduct daily audits of upcoming arrivals to verify reservation details.
• Coordinate with front office and other departments to fulfill guest requests and special events.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• At least one year of experience in hotel reservations or a similar guest‑facing role.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Knowledge of hospitality standards, hotel facilities, and local attractions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Property Management Systems, preferably OPERA.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple reservations with high accuracy.
