Reservations Agent – Al Forsan International Sports Resort

About the role

The Reservations Agent will handle all guest reservation requests for Al Forsan International Sports Resort. You will work directly with callers, email and fax inquiries, ensuring accurate bookings, changes and cancellations while delivering Marriott’s standard of wonderful hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, modifications and cancellations received via phone, fax or mail.
• Identify guest needs, recommend appropriate room types and verify availability and rates.
• Explain guarantee, special rate and cancellation policies to guests.
• Enter all reservation data accurately into the property’s reservation system, including special codes for complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel‑agent rates and wholesale bookings.
• Document special requests, answer questions about property facilities and services, and follow sales techniques to maximize revenue.
• Escalate guest concerns according to established procedures and maintain confidentiality of guest and company information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior reservation experience required; training will be provided.
• Professional appearance and clear, courteous communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 lb without assistance.

• Basic computer proficiency for data entry in reservation systems.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening.
