Reservations Agent (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

We are seeking a Reservations Agent fluent in Arabic to join the Marriott Al Forsan team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves handling reservation requests via phone, fax, or email, ensuring guests receive accurate information and a seamless booking experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest needs, determine appropriate room type, and verify availability and rates.
• Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
• Record special requests and accommodate them in the system.
• Provide information about property facilities, services, and room accommodations.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue and input correct codes for special room types (e.g., complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel agent rates).
• Follow escalation procedures for guest concerns and maintain accurate data in the reservation system.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain professional appearance, and protect guest privacy and company assets.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior reservation or related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
