Reservations Agent

About the role

The Reservations Agent supports the Reservations department of Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort, ensuring smooth booking processes and delivering the brand’s high standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, process and confirm guest room reservations via phone, email or fax, adhering to MHG quality standards.
• Respond to all reservation inquiries within 24 hours and send confirmation letters within two hours.
• Drive upselling initiatives and achieve monthly revenue targets.
• Manage group bookings, update rooming lists, billing instructions and special requests in OPMS.
• Create and maintain guest and company profiles in the Property Management System (PMS) following data‑entry standards.
• Generate daily trace/follow‑up reports and reconfirm expected arrivals 1, 3 and 7 days in advance.
• Apply hotel credit, cancellation, no‑show and pre‑payment policies accurately.
• Stay current on room types, rates, packages, F&B outlets, spa, and other resort facilities.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a passion for hospitality.
• Ability to work independently and take personal responsibility for revenue goals.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Property Management System (PMS) platforms.
• Experience using OPMS (Opera Property Management System) or similar reservation software.
