Reservations Agent – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Reservations Agent will support the Reservations department of Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort, ensuring smooth booking operations and contributing to the hotel's revenue goals. This role requires strict adherence to SOPs, proactive upselling, and excellent guest communication.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Reservations department to achieve hotel business goals.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and drive upselling to meet revenue targets.
• Receive, process and confirm guest reservations via phone, email or fax within two hours and respond to inquiries within 24 hours.
• Manage group bookings, update rooming lists, billing instructions and special requests in OPMS.
• Apply the hotel’s credit policy to WHO and direct bookings.
• Create and maintain guest and company profiles in the Property Management System (PMS) following data‑entry standards.
• Generate daily trace and follow‑up reports and perform arrival checks 1, 3 and 7 days prior to reconfirm bookings.
• Maintain administrative procedures to prevent double‑bookings and ensure accurate filing.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.
• Proactive attitude towards upselling and revenue generation.
• Good understanding of hotel selling strategies, rates, packages and group bookings.
• Knowledge of credit policy application.

Required skills

• OPMS (group booking management system).
• Property Management System (PMS) for reservations and profile creation.
