About the role
Oversee the accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes while ensuring the Gold Standards of service are delivered at The Ritz‑Carlton Abu Dhabi Grand Canal.
Key responsibilities
- Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
- Verify room availability, rates, and guarantee policies, and explain them to guests.
- Accommodate and document special requests and ensure proper billing according to accounting policies.
- Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue and input data into the reservation system.
- Assist management with training, scheduling, counseling, and coaching of staff.
- Troubleshoot and resolve guest issues, escalating when necessary.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related work experience in reservations.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
