Resident Architect

About the role

DSA is seeking a Resident Architect to lead on‑site architectural supervision for major construction projects in Dubai. The role acts as the primary interface between the client, contractors, design teams and other stakeholders, safeguarding design intent and ensuring compliance with contracts, codes and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the on‑site consultancy team, maintaining high standards of quality, coordination and delivery.
• Oversee design deliverables, pre‑engineering, shop drawings, RFIs, submittals and construction queries.
• Review and approve mock‑ups, sample rooms, materials and finishes.
• Manage multidisciplinary site teams and coordinate with client, contractors and design consultants.
• Conduct quality audits, develop procedures and support internal process improvements when required.

Required profile

• Senior architect with extensive experience in on‑site project leadership.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, construction codes and specifications.
• Proven ability to act as the senior representative of the firm on site.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
