Restaurant General Manager – Reunion

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead our operations at our Reunion restaurant location in Ras Al‑Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal leadership role you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, drive profitability, and create an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house activities to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Recruit, train, onboard and manage restaurant staff, conducting regular performance reviews.
• Develop and implement revenue‑maximising strategies while controlling costs to meet profitability targets.
• Maintain strict health, safety and sanitation standards in line with local regulations.
• Manage inventory, food costs and vendor relationships to optimise efficiency and minimise waste.
• Monitor customer satisfaction through service standards and guest‑feedback analysis.
• Plan and execute marketing initiatives and promotional activities to boost customer engagement.
• Analyse financial reports and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with corporate leadership to refine operational procedures and best practices.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and coordinate special events, private functions and catering services.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
• Proven track record of managing P&L statements and achieving financial targets.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities with a focus on staff development.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Fluent English communication; additional language skills are a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Experience recruiting, training and managing multicultural teams in an international setting.
• Knowledge of UAE hospitality regulations and compliance requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with restaurant management systems.
• Experience using point‑of‑sale (POS) software.
