Restaurant Hostess – Arabic Speaking (Female)

About the role

The Restaurant Hostess is the first point of contact for guests at Fairmont Ajman, a 5‑star beachfront hotel. This position requires fluency in Arabic to welcome Arabic‑speaking guests, manage reservations and ensure smooth seating.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
• Manage the reservation system, including booking, confirming and updating reservations.
• Organise seating arrangements to maintain efficient guest flow.
• Communicate wait times and escort guests to their tables, providing menus and information on specials.
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure tables are ready and maintain the cleanliness of the host stand and lobby.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (speaking and writing).
• Professional, friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
