Restaurant Hostess for Upmarket Casual Dining

About the role

Apt Resources is recruiting a friendly and outgoing Restaurant Hostess for an up‑market casual dining restaurant. The Hostess will be the first point of contact, creating a warm welcome and ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant.
• Manage the reservation system and keep bookings organized.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth service.
• Communicate menu options and answer guest questions.
• Assist in seating guests and monitor their comfort.
• Handle guest complaints professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Hostess or similar role.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Understanding of restaurant operations and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
