Restaurant Host/Hostess – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Restaurant Host/Hostess welcomes guests to the InterContinental Fujairah Resort restaurant, recommends food and drink, and helps ensure service runs smoothly. You will create memorable dining experiences by tailoring service to each guest’s preferences.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and manage reservations, waiting lists, and seating arrangements.
• Provide menus, explain restaurant offerings, and answer guest inquiries.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the menu, promotions, and restaurant facilities.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond professionally to requests and complaints.
• Communicate VIP arrivals, special occasions, and guest preferences to the service team.
• Coordinate with restaurant supervisors, managers, and F&B colleagues for smooth operations.
• Keep menus, promotional materials, and restaurant information clean and current.
• Prepare and maintain accurate buffet tags and food labels.
• Collect guest feedback and share relevant comments with the team.
• Answer telephone calls, manage reservations, and respond to guest inquiries via email.
• Assist other restaurant areas as required to ensure excellent guest service.
