Retail Leasing Manager

About the role

The leading developer in the UAE seeks a Retail Leasing Manager to drive leasing strategy across multiple projects. You will lead negotiations, curate tenant mixes and elevate the mall’s profile within the retail community.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute leasing strategy for several retail developments.
• Negotiate leases directly with targeted and approved prospects.
• Create critical‑path plans and depth charts for desired retailers.
• Prepare tenancy mix and retail depth analyses for each asset.
• Report leasing timelines, goals and mix progress to the Director of Leasing.
• Profile new and existing retail brands locally, regionally and internationally.
• Maintain regular contact with key retail groups in the market.
• Secure anchor deals in fashion and entertainment.
• Source international retailers to introduce unique concepts.
• Review and renew expiring leases where applicable.
• Maximise rental income and negotiate favourable lease terms.
• Raise the mall’s profile among the retail community.
• Assist in preparing lease documentation such as Letters of Offer and Lease Agreements.
• Conduct competitor and market research on new developments, rentals and retail trends.
• Liaise with legal counsel to ensure lease documents comply with regulations.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in a leasing environment.
• Strong motivation and people skills.
• Good knowledge of current retail trends.
• Ability to budget and forecast rental income.
• Effective time‑management and planning capabilities.
