Retail Sales Associate – Customer Experience

About the role

The Sales Associate will deliver an excellent in‑store customer experience while supporting the achievement of sales targets. You will work in a fast‑paced retail environment, representing a leading omni‑channel retailer in the marine and lifestyle sector.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, identify their needs and recommend suitable products.
• Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, ensure product displays are stocked and the store remains clean and organized.
• Operate the POS system, process transactions, returns and exchanges accurately while handling cash and card payments in line with company policies.
• Participate in team meetings, sales huddles and product knowledge sessions, and communicate feedback to the Store Manager.

Required profile

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably in a premium marine, sports or lifestyle environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to selling.
• Ability to learn product knowledge quickly and recommend appropriate items.
• Attention to detail, good organizational skills and flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and varied shifts.
• Fluency in English; additional languages such as Arabic or Russian are a plus.
