Retail Training & Visual Merchandising Supervisor

About the role

The Retail Training & Visual Merchandising Supervisor / Assistant Manager is responsible for driving the execution of retail training programs and visual merchandising standards across stores. This role combines classroom and on‑site coaching to raise product knowledge, selling skills and store presentation, while ensuring consistent brand experience.

Key responsibilities

• Execute retail training programs covering product knowledge, selling skills, customer service and store operational standards; deliver classroom sessions, in‑store coaching, onboarding and on‑the‑job training for store managers and frontline staff.
• Conduct regular store visits to identify capability gaps, provide coaching, track training effectiveness and follow up on improvement actions.
• Implement brand visual merchandising guidelines, review product presentation, window displays, mannequin styling and store zoning; provide guidance and corrective actions to store teams.
• Support new store openings, seasonal campaigns and product launches in close collaboration with Retail Operations, Merchandising and Marketing teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 3–5 years of experience in retail training, visual merchandising or retail operations, preferably in sportswear, footwear, fashion or lifestyle retail.
• Strong understanding of store operations, selling processes, customer service and visual merchandising, combined with excellent training, presentation, coaching and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Detail‑oriented, able to work independently, travel regularly between stores and communicate fluently in English; Mandarin is an advantage.
