Revenue Accounting Specialist

About the role

The Revenue Accounting Specialist provides revenue accounting services for a portfolio of hotels across the Middle East and Africa from the UAE Finance Centre of Excellence in Ras Al Khaimah. The role ensures accuracy, consistency and compliance with Hilton standards while collaborating remotely with hotel teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate all revenue postings and prepare Daily Income Audit Reports for assigned hotels.
• Approve reports within the Daily Income Audit bundle and follow up with hotel teams to ensure required documentation is uploaded to Docuware.
• Post revenue and process reallocations based on requests from authorized finance leads.
• Reconcile revenue‑related taxes and ensure timely reporting to hotels for government submission.
• Perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations for revenue‑related accounts.
• Reconcile daily credit‑card activity, post related receipts and resolve variances in collaboration with COE and hotel teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to drive efficiency and standardisation.

Required profile

• High school graduate minimum; university degree or accounting qualification preferred.
• Relevant experience as a General Accountant or Income Auditor.
• Fluent in English; additional languages such as French or Arabic are an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure with competing priorities.
• Proactive, inquisitive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Navision finance system.
• Familiarity with OnQ/OA reporting tools.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Docuware for document management.
