RN III NICU Nurse

About the role

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Danat Al Emarat seeks a Level III Registered Nurse to deliver specialized, compassionate care to premature, critically ill, and high‑risk newborns. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for the most fragile infants.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to NICU patients, continuously assessing vital signs and documenting clinical status.
• Administer medications, intravenous therapies, blood products, and nutritional support as prescribed.
• Operate and monitor neonatal equipment such as incubators, ventilators, CPAP devices, infusion pumps, and cardiac monitors.
• Assist neonatologists and other providers during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in a newborn’s condition and manage emergencies.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and adhere to infection‑prevention protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other team members to develop individualized care plans.
• Promote breastfeeding, maternal bonding, and family‑centered care, and educate parents on infant care and discharge planning.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) at Level III with experience in a NICU setting.
• Ability to work in a high‑stress, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with families and multidisciplinary staff.
