Rooms Controller – Dubai

About the role

The Rooms Controller ensures smooth guest arrivals and departures by managing room assignments, registrations, and key distribution. This full‑time position supports the front‑desk team in delivering a seamless and personalized experience for all guests at Four Points by Sheraton on Sheikh Zayed Road.

Key responsibilities

• Assign rooms according to guest preferences and pre‑register designated guests.
• Organise check‑in and pre‑registration procedures for arriving groups.
• Review, track and accommodate room change requests, cancellations and out‑of‑order rooms.
• Verify billing, activate room keys, secure payments and perform duplicate reservation checks.
• Run daily reports, block rooms when necessary and communicate status to relevant staff.
• Welcome guests, address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities and maintain professional appearance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of related hospitality experience.
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Proficiency using computers and POS systems for data entry and reporting.
