About the role
We are looking for an experienced Safety Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, focusing on the bitumen and asphalt sector. The role involves ensuring a safe working environment, complying with UAE HSE regulations, and supporting daily operations in a fast‑paced industrial setting.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct HSE inspections and audits across the plant.
- Perform risk assessments and develop emergency response plans.
- Deliver safety training, toolbox talks and regular briefings.
- Monitor compliance with UAE occupational safety and health standards.
- Prepare and submit safety reports and documentation.
- Support continuous improvement of industrial safety standards.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the bitumen and/or asphalt industry.
- NEBOSH certification and OSHAD/UAE Occupational Safety & Health certification.
- Valid UAE driving licence.
- Strong communication and reporting abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a high‑tempo environment.
