Sage X3 Technical Consultant

About the role

Bridge Talent is looking for an experienced Sage X3 Technical Consultant to work remotely from Dubai. The consultant works closely with functional consultants, project managers and business users to design, develop and implement scalable technical solutions in the Sage X3 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and customize Sage X3 according to approved functional and business requirements
• Design and build screens, windows, objects, tables, fields, inquiries, workflows and reports
• Write and maintain Sage X3 programs using 4GL and development tools
• Build integrations with third-party apps via REST/SOAP APIs, web services and import/export templates
• Develop reports with Crystal Reports and Sage X3 reporting tools
• Prepare technical specifications and work with functional consultants on customization needs
• Build data migration programs, interfaces and validation routines, supporting master and transactional data migration
• Run unit tests and support SIT, UAT, go-live and post-go-live activities
• Troubleshoot application, integration, database and performance issues, including root-cause analysis
• Support upgrades, patches, hotfixes and version migrations, following development standards, version control and documentation
• Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to internal teams and customers

Required profile

• 3-7+ years of ERP technical consulting/development experience with strong hands-on Sage X3 experience
• At least 2-3 end-to-end Sage X3 implementation projects
• Strong experience in customization, integrations, reporting and data migration
• Understanding of ERP processes across Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Distribution and Manufacturing
• Good communication and client-facing skills, able to work independently and in project teams
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Engineering or a related field; Sage X3 technical certification; UAE/GCC Sage X3 implementation experience
