Sales and Marketing Assistant

About the role

A multinational automobile manufacturer is looking for a Sales and Marketing Assistant to be based in Dubai. The role sits alongside the Sales Team and covers order processing, sales reporting and liaison with distributors.

Key responsibilities

• Understand the business flow, including the order cycle, receiving orders from distributors, tracking shipments and arrivals, managing stock and processing the flow with the Sales Team.
• Create sales reports for management and maintain the sales database regularly, understanding the sales plan.
• Update shipment results and forecasts, and communicate them with management and distributors.
• Prepare an industry market database and provide market analysis to the relevant teams.
• Liaise with distributors to align sales and orders with monthly and quarterly targets, and consolidate orders shared with distributors and factories.
• Update final orders, shipments, sales and stock results and forecasts in an Excel sheet and share them with management.
• Support the Sales and Marketing team for events such as product launches and distributor conferences.

Required profile

• Experience in the Sales and Marketing division.
• Experience in data management and analysis.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Ability to work accurately and on time, under pressure and long hours, and to communicate respectfully with colleagues of different nationalities.

Required skills

• Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; very high-level Excel skills desired.
