Sales Assistant – Retail (Toys "R" Us)

About the role
The Sales Assistant will generate sales and ensure a positive customer experience in the Toys "R" Us store at Festival Plaza. You will maintain store standards, provide product information, and support operational duties assigned by management.
Key responsibilities
- Create a clean, organized store environment and uphold dress code standards.
- Greet customers promptly, offer product information, and thank them on exit.
- Assist customers in fitting rooms, handle cash‑wrap duties, promote add‑on sales, and capture customer data.
- Maintain cash‑wrap cleanliness and offer gift cards.
Required profile
- High school diploma.
- 1‑2 years of retail sales experience.
- Ability to stand for at least 8 hours and perform some heavy lifting.
Required skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Illustrator or Photoshop.
