Sales Associate – Retail

About the role

The Sales Associate will deliver an excellent in‑store customer experience while helping the store meet its sales targets. You will use your product knowledge to guide customers, maintain store standards, and support daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, identify their needs, and provide product recommendations, cross‑selling and upselling where appropriate.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the product range, promotions, and brand initiatives.
• Ensure merchandise is displayed according to visual standards and keep the store clean and organized.
• Handle POS transactions, cash, and card payments accurately and in line with company policies.
• Assist with stock receipt, price tagging, inventory audits, and reporting discrepancies.
• Participate in team meetings, sales huddles, and product knowledge sessions.

Required profile

• Previous retail sales or customer‑service experience, preferably in a premium marine, sports or lifestyle environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proactive, confident attitude with a focus on achieving sales targets.
