Sales & Business Development Engineer

About the role

Bilfinger, a leading international industrial services provider, is looking for a dynamic Sales & Business Development Engineer to expand its Oil & Gas Engineering Consultancy portfolio across the GCC and selected international markets. The role combines market intelligence, client relationship building, and the preparation of technical and commercial proposals to win consultancy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the UAE, GCC, Iraq, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Oman, and Jordan.
• Create and execute business development strategies to meet annual sales and revenue targets.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with operators, EPC contractors, government entities, and industrial clients.
• Promote Bilfinger’s Engineering Consultancy, Project Management, HSE, Fire Protection, and Asset Integrity services.
• Generate qualified leads through networking, industry events, client visits, and market research.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals in coordination with engineering teams.
• Lead client presentations, technical discussions, and capability demonstrations.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to project award.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales or business development within engineering consultancy or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, industrial, and infrastructure markets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as required.
