Sales Director - Cybersecurity (UAE)

About the role

An international cybersecurity vendor specialising in AI-driven threat intelligence and advanced security solutions is expanding its Middle East operations and is looking for a Sales Director to build its commercial presence in the UAE. The role reports to regional or global sales leadership and covers enterprise sales, channel development and go-to-market strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the UAE commercial strategy, build a pipeline of high-value opportunities and secure strategic enterprise and government customers
• Manage the full enterprise sales cycle, lead complex procurements and coordinate technical demos and proofs of concept
• Build relationships with CISOs, CIOs and other senior cybersecurity decision-makers and set up strategic account plans
• Establish relationships with cybersecurity distributors, systems integrators, MSSPs and resellers, and support partner enablement
• Forecast pipeline and revenue, represent the company at industry events and give commercial feedback to global leadership

Required profile

• At least 7 years of enterprise technology sales experience, including significant cybersecurity sales
• Proven success selling complex cybersecurity solutions to UAE enterprise accounts and exceeding revenue targets
• Established relationships with CISOs, CIOs and senior cybersecurity decision-makers
• Fluent English; fluency in Arabic is not required

Required skills

• Experience with cybersecurity channel partners and distributors
• Desirable: knowledge of Cyber Threat Intelligence, Digital Risk Protection, External Attack Surface Management, SIEM, SOAR, XDR, EDR or NDR
• Desirable: existing relationships in banking, government, telecom, energy and large enterprise sectors
