Sales Engineer – Cybersecurity Solutions

About the role

spiderSilk is seeking a technically skilled, customer‑focused Sales Engineer to join its Dubai team. In this pre‑sales role you will work closely with the sales organisation to demonstrate the value of spiderSilk’s Exposure Management and broader cybersecurity platform, design solutions and support engagements throughout the sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary technical resource during sales process, delivering product demos, PoC deployments and technical evaluations.
• Gather and analyse customer requirements, tailoring solutions that address business needs and security objectives.
• Lead technical discussions with security architects, CISOs and IT operations teams.
• Design and present customized solutions covering Exposure Management, Attack Surface Management, Threat Intelligence and related technologies.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to provide feedback and influence roadmap priorities.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs and create technical documentation and solution architectures.
• Keep up‑to‑date with industry trends, emerging threats and new technologies to act as a trusted advisor.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience implementing Exposure Management, Vulnerability Management or related cybersecurity solutions.
• Proven experience supporting enterprise sales teams in a technical pre‑sales or solution‑engineering capacity.
• Direct experience selling to government or highly regulated industries is a plus.
• Familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, SPIN or Challenger.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, OSCP, CompTIA Security+) are a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Exposure Management and Vulnerability Management platforms.
• External Exposure and Threat Management, Attack Surface Management, AI‑enabled cyber security solutions.
• Scripting/automation with Python or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management and threat mitigation.
• Experience with products such as ZeroFox, BishopFox, BitSight, Security Scorecard, Censys, IBM Randori, Resecurity, Crowdstrike and Recorded Futures.
