Sales Engineer - Instrumentation

About the role

We are looking for a Sales Engineer specialized in instrumentation to join our Abu Dhabi team. You will drive sales of pressure, temperature, flow and control instrumentation, provide technical support, and manage the full sales cycle from enquiry to order delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries, prepare techno‑commercial quotations and follow up to close sales orders.
• Interpret customer specifications, P&IDs, datasheets and technical requirements to recommend suitable products.
• Coordinate with suppliers, procurement and logistics to ensure timely order execution and delivery.
• Prepare cost estimates, pricing, tender documents and technical/commercial proposals.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and generate repeat business through regular follow‑ups.
• Support field sales engineers with product selection and order processing.
• Update CRM/ERP systems with enquiries, quotations, orders and customer records.
• Resolve customer queries related to product specifications, delivery schedules and after‑sales support.
• Achieve sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in internal/inside/technical sales of instrumentation products.
• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong product knowledge of pressure, temperature, flow, level, control valves, actuators and related accessories.
• Familiarity with instrumentation sectors such as industrial automation, process control, oil & gas, EPC, petrochemical, power, water treatment or manufacturing.
